Our reception area is cleaned and disinfected frequently, whereas our check-in and check-out procedures have been updated to comply with social distancing measures.
In order to ensure proper ventilation of all our suites between check in and check out, the time of check out has been altered to 11 am. Check in time remains 3 pm.
We love to greet and serve our guests, however during these circumstances we invest in technology for contactless solutions, where possible, for a fastest check-in and check-out procedure. If possible, you are kindly requested to provide us a copy of all guests’ passports along with the copy of your credit card prior your arrival to minimise the check-in procedure time required.
We have developed a web page for the guest experience to be as contactless as possible. By simply scanning a mobile phone’s camera on a QR code guests can view our room directory including our spa and all-day menus and beverage lists.
Public Areas
All public spaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, several times throughout the day with extra attention to frequented areas including front desk counters and public restrooms.
We use high quality, certified cleaning products and disinfectants approved by the ΕΟΦ (Greek National Organization for Medicines).
Sanitizing stations are placed throughout the property and protection masks, single-use gloves are offered upon request.
We added throughout the property labels with useful guidelines on how to ensure our guests’ health & safety (Ifestioni Restaurant/Bar/ Pool, Tefsion Kallos Spa, Lobby area, Gym, Common used bathrooms with social distancing rules, hand sanitation instructions etc).
In-room cleaning
Disinfection of rooms and deep cleaning of its exterior area is performed prior your arrival by our trained Housekeeping team wearing single use masks and gloves for each room.
Room linens are washed at high temperatures, according to the directives of the World Health Organization, whereas all non-essential beddings and décor items have been removed from the facilities. Coffee and tea making facilities will be available upon request.
Housekeeping service, change of linens and turn down service during the stay will be performed only upon request as per the new Health & Safety protocols.
Fresh towels are at our guest disposal 24/7 simply by calling our front desk office.

Tefsion Kallos Spa and Gym
The Tefsion Kallos Spa will be operating under reservation only and will be used exclusively from the guest taking a treatment. Adequate time between treatments for sanitizing will be given.
You are kindly requested to contact the Spa team or the Reception desk to use the Gym facility. After each guest’s visit all equipment and area will be disinfected.
Dining Facilities
Restaurants and bars will operate with reduced capacity to ensure adequate space and socially distant set-up.
We have extended breakfast hours from 08:00am am to 11:00am.
For your convenience and in compliance with the new legislations, we have created a new themed breakfast menu for you to taste different Greek flavors from all over Greece (Cycladic Breakfast, Cretan, Peloponnesian, Epirus and Northern Greece breakfast) on a daily rotation.
All menus and beverage lists will be provided digitally by simply scanning a mobile phone’s camera on a QR code. Printed menus are available upon request. We advise downloading a QR code reader application.
Our kitchen staff will be using personal safety equipment (facemasks, gloves, antibacterial hand sanitizers etc.) at all times.
Transfer and Valet Services
Transfers from/to the Port/Airport and around the island may be arranged and are conducted by our experienced and trained drivers upon request. All transfers and tours are private.
Staff Training
All members of our staff have been trained on hygiene protocols and have a well-informed understanding of COVID-19 and its transmission.
All personnel will also be maintaining the required distance and will be implementing all operating procedures in compliance with the Greek Government’s Health & Safety Protocols to ensure your comfort and safety during your stay.
We assure you, our personalized care and connection will not be lost in the absence of close contact and limited face to face interaction.
The Aressana’s staff is available 24/7 to assist guests with any inquiry and inform on our detailed health & safety protocols. All the above precautionary actions are taken to ensure our guests’ peace of mind and personal safety.

As required by the Greek authorities, Aressana Spa Hotel & Suites has ensured:
- Access to an appointed doctor, located near the hotel’s premises.
- A trained and certified appointed staff member of each department to handle all potential Covid-19 related incidents and to apply the latest health & safety procedures.
Updated reservations and cancellation policy
We have updated our Special Offers and cancellations policy with the below flexible booking policy to provide you a peace of mind when planning your summer holiday in Santorini and Aressana Spa Hotel & Suites. You can modify your booking without additional charge up to:
- 3 days prior to your arrival date for July reservations
- 7 days prior to your arrival date for August and September reservations
- 3 days prior to your arrival date for October reservations
